Lesley is our Managing Director. She set up Cerulean in 2001 to offer practical but creative solutions for clients. She is a learning and development specialist, a psychotherapist and a business coach.
Lesley gained a BA in English Literature from London University and followed this a few years later with post-graduate study in International Business at Southbank University. In 2006 Lesley completed her MSc. in Psychodynamic Counselling from London University and is now a member of the Metanoia Institute where she is researching on the doctoral programme on the long-term efficacy of psychodynamic ideas in business training and consultancy.
Lesley is a member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP), the Association for Counselling at Work (ACW) and the Association for Independent Practitioners (AIP). She is also an organisational member of both the CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel Development) and AoC (Association of Counselling).
Over the years we have built an experienced team of consultants specialising in change management, leadership and personal development. Each of our consultants has worked in a range of blue chip and prominent public sector organisations as senior managers and/or education specialists.
Angela began her career in theatre education before moving towards community work, management training and finally organisational development. She trained as an Organisation Consultant, and now works across all sectors – large national and international organisations, public, commercial and third sectors. She has an Accreditation as Mediator from the School of Psychotherapy and Counselling and works with individuals and teams.
Angela also researches, writes and speaks about leadership, mediation, coaching and power and exclusion.
Anne is our HR expert. She is a member of the CIPD and holds the Postgraduate Advanced Certificate in Employment Law. Anne’s career history includes running a central HR team for 1,200 employees over 25 UK locations in a large PLC organisation and as Chief People Officer at an online media organisation where she led the HR generalist and specialist teams.
Jane is a highly qualified performance coach and trainer, with a background in psychology and over 15 years experience of training, coaching and mentoring. Jane’s strength is in understanding how individuals process information and ultimately how to maximise this for personal development and learning. Jane works both in business and sport and uses coaching as a tool to develop performance. Her areas of expertise include Emotional Intelligence, creating thinking space through listening (Nancy Kline), transpersonal coaching (Assagioli), Gestalt, NLP, Modelling, Organisational Development and Team Development.
John is a training specialist with broad training delivery and consulting experience across a number of sectors and industries. Like the other consultants at LJA Learning and Development, John has a psychology background which affords him a real understanding of how people learn, change behaviour and interact with new information. John is experienced in implementing the full learning cycle and is interested in finding innovative methods of delivering training that is both informative and leads to behavioural changes that benefits his clients.
Tatiana is a Management Development Consultant specialising in the psychology of management. Tatiana designs and delivers training in interpersonal communication, organisational behaviour and culture, leadership, and change management and also excels in providing bespoke one-to-one coaching for senior executives.
Before specialising in these areas, Tatiana had a successful and varied career as a journalist at the BBC and Consultant on political and cultural issues to international financial institutions. She holds an MA in Linguistics and an MSc in Psychotherapy, both with Distinction. Based in London for the past 15 years, Tatiana maintains close links with her native Russia.
Jane is a dynamic and engaging trainer with significant experience in both design and delivery. Jane spent 17 years with British Airways where she gained first-hand experience of leading and managing large groups of people; before moving into learning and development roles specialising in leadership and customer service. Since 1995 Jane has worked with a range of clients across a variety of industries to help drive culture change and improve results. Jane is also a qualified and highly effective coach.
Philip is a learning facilitator whose particular expertise is in facilitating growth, change and leadership, and assisting individuals to understand personal behaviour and the impact of their behaviour on others. He works with organisations on customer service, behaviour, sales, change and resource materials (including writing and developing training materials and facilitating ‘Train-the-Trainer’ workshops for leadership, management, diversity and policy workshops).
He is also a project manager who coaches and mentors CEOs, directors, leaders and others using a strategic eye and a pragmatic approach to help and guide people to practical and achievable solutions.
